Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will be charged the full price of the session. By booking, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. We require a credit card on file to hold the appointment.

Complimentary Meet & Greet

We really want counselling to be successful for you. During this call, you'll have the opportunity to get to know a therapist and understand how they can help you before committing to regular sessions. You’ll discuss what you’d like to address in therapy and have the chance to ask any questions you may have about the process. Additionally, you can book your first session directly during the call.


Individual Adult & Couples Counselling

We offer individual and couples counselling appointments. By exploring our practitioner profiles, you can discover the diverse range of treatments and specialized areas that our team provides. All of our practitioners are fully accredited and registered with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT).

Tiffany is a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate (RCT-C23-033) licensed by the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT), and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (#11241008)

Tiffany primarily works with individuals and couples who are navigating stress, anxiety & depression, interpersonal conflict, parenting & co-parenting, family violence, and anger management.

Tiffany offers the following therapeutic modalities:

Humanistic Therapy

Humanistic therapy adopts a holistic approach that focuses on free will, human potential, and self-discovery. It aims to help you develop a strong and healthy sense of self, explore your feelings, find meaning, and focus on your strengths

Somatic-Based Therapy

Somatic-based therapy helps address the physical manifestations of mental health concerns, like heart palpitations, gut issues, pain, etc. It explores the link between these sensations and stress or trauma, teaching techniques to manage stress and regulate emotions, fostering improved overall well-being.

Holistic Therapy

Holistic psychotherapy focuses on the relationship between mind, body, and spirit, attempting to understand and address the ways issues in one aspect of a person can lead to concerns in other areas, helping the individual gain awareness of the connections between their emotions, thoughts, physical experiences, and spiritual understanding. This deeper understanding of the whole self can often lend itself to greater self-awareness, self-esteem,and self-acceptance.

Janelle Marchand is a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate (RCT-C22-005) licensed by the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT), and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (#10005809).

Janelle specializes in supporting adults and university students who are navigating strained​ relationships (be it family, friendship, or romantic), having difficulties moving forward with trauma and grief, and are feeling the weight of anxiety and depression.

Janelle offers the following treatment approaches:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT addresses thoughts, emotions, and behaviours to promote positive change. This treatment helps individuals identify and challenge negative patterns that contribute to an on-going difficult cycles. CBT involves learning and practicing new skills that can help improve self-talk, regulate emotions and develop better coping behaviours.

Somatic-Based Therapy

Somatic-based therapies helps address the physical manifestations of mental health concerns, like heart palpitations, gut issues, pain, etc. It explores the link between these sensations and stress or trauma, teaching techniques to manage stress and improve the physical health condition.

Gottman Couples Therapy

Gottman Method helps couples to recognize destructive relationship patterns and enhance communication and problem-solving skills. By fostering trust, intimacy, and emotional connection, it guides couples to resolve conflicts constructively, reducing anxiety and depression symptoms and decreasing the likelihood of divorce or separation.

Walk and Talk Outdoor Therapy Walk and Talk Outdoor Therapy combines nature, movement and counselling therapy. Sessions take place outdoors at select locations. Walk and Talk is fantastic for those who struggle with direct eye contact, sitting for extended periods of time, and holding attention, in a traditional therapy office. This method is particularly supportive for those with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD & grief.
